SEDCO announces 903 Brewers expansion

Sherman Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) today announced 903 Brewers will expand their operation at its Sherman, Texas facility. 903 Brewers will invest $389,000 in new production equipment and create ten new jobs. SEDCO is providing an incentive grant of $22,000 to assist the company in the project.

“We are excited about adding new investment and jobs at our brewery in Sherman, Texas,” said Jeremy Roberts, President of 903 Brewers. “Sherman continues to be a great place to do business. We appreciate the continued support of the Sherman Economic Development Corporation.”

“On behalf of the SEDCO Board of Directors, we are pleased that 903 Brewers are ramping up and adding additional investment and jobs to the Sherman economy.” said Chris Pendergrass, chairman of Sherman Economic Development Corporation. “Sherman is home to successful start-ups like 903 Brewers and we hope to foster an entrepreneurial community.”

903 Brewers is located at 1718 South Elm Street in Sherman. They are a craft brewery that produces a variety of beer and ales sold throughout north Texas. The expansion project will add bottling capabilities.

Sherman Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) is the economic development organization for the City of Sherman supported by a local sales tax. Sherman is a growing city of 40,000 in the Sherman/Denison MSA about 40 miles north of Dallas, Texas. Sherman is a lead city in the two-state Texoma region. SEDCO is focused on growing the local economy through marketing, incentive programs, real estate development (Progress Park) and corporate customer service. SEDCO has attracted 857 jobs and over $812 million in capital investment to the community since 2011.
